If you own a Nintendo Switch, I like to think you enjoyed last week’s Bayonetta-centric offerings. This week has a hard act to follow, but some solid stuff is nevertheless on sale!
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus, an enhanced port of the 2016 dot-munching downloadable title, has finally joined the Switch’s lineup. Although I haven’t dabbled in the Plus iteration yet, I did spend a lengthy time with the Xbox 360 release of Championship Edition 2, and you can find my review of it over yonder. Owing to the multiplayer conceit that’s core to the Switch’s DNA, this version of the game offers an exclusive co-op mode.
Payday 2, likewise, brings over another familiar title to the Switch, albeit one that’s more gun-friendly than Pac-Man. And the Nintendo 3DS family can finally enjoy the popular indie platformer SteamWorld Dig 2.
Oh, and remember that update for Super Mario Odyssey we were supposed to get this month? It’s finally out, and I’ll be discussing the new content in my upcoming review. Check back soon!
