It’s been confirmed that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had their first child via a surrogate on Jan 15. Chopra announced the news on Instagram Friday and requested privacy for their family.
Chopra, 39, and Jonas, 29, celebrated their third wedding anniversary in December. They were wed in Jodphur, India in both a Christian and Hindu ceremony over two days.
Nick is the last of his family band The Jonas Brothers to have a child. Kevin Jonas has two daughters, and Joe Jonas welcomed a daughter with his wife Sophie Turner on July 22, 2020.
Chopra has been open about the fact that she wants a large family, once telling E! News she would like enough children for “a cricket team.” She has recently been asked if she and Jonas would be willing to slow down their careers to grow their family, and she simply said, “We’re both okay with that.”
