Nick Gordon Wears Bobbi Kristina’s ‘Wedding Ring’ After Her Tragic Death

Nick Gordon, who was Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s boyfriend and self-professed husband, was spotted wearing her ring around his neck earlier this week.

Gordon was pictured walking with his mother Michelle Gordon around the grounds of the gated community in which they are currently living in Florida. Gordon walked arm-in-arm with his mother, wearing basketball shorts and a t-shirt. He also still appeared to be wearing a ring on his left ring finger, as well as the ring that Bobbi Kristina had worn on the same finger around his neck.

During their relationship, Gordon and Bobbi Kristina claimed that the rings were their wedding rings, and that they had wed on Jan. 9, 2014. Bobbi Kristina’s family members deny that the two were ever legally wed.

Gordon, who was disallowed from visiting Bobbi Kristina during her lengthy hospitalization, apparently found out about her passing Sunday through his brother, who saw the news report.

“He didn’t even know,” Junior Walker told Entertainment Tonight. “I told him ET posted it … and then his lawyer called on the phone while I was talking to him. He was on the phone with me and I told him that ET [was] posting saying Kris is gone.”

“We’re all hurt right now trying to figure out how to cope through everything,” said Junior, who noted that while his brother is in bad shape, he’s not on suicide watch. “This whole year has not been easy at all.”

Gordon’s mother Michelle also weighed in on Nick’s state of mind following Bobbi Kristina’s death, and offered her thoughts and prayers to her family.

“The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family,” she said. “Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart. Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”

Gordon, who had been living with Bobbi Kristina at the Roswell, Ga., home where she was found unresponsive, is currently facing a $10 million civil lawsuit filed by Bedelia Hargrove. Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, is alleging that Gordon was physically abusive towards her and stole roughly $11,000 of her money during her hospital stay.

Additionally, Gordon could face a criminal trial for his alleged involvement in Bobbi Kristina’s death. The homicide investigation is ongoing.
