Nick Carter’s Sister, Bobbie Jean Carter, Dies At 41 – After Brother Aaron & Sister Leslie Died Of Overdoses In Recent Years

The Carter family has been struck by yet another loss with the sudden and untimely death of Bobbie Jean Carter in Florida. As the sister of Aaron and Nick Carter, her death marks the third loss for the family.

The family has already endured the loss of Aaron, who tragically died last year at the age of 34 from an accidental drowning caused by the effects of alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax, and inhaling compressed air.

Additionally, Bobbie Jean’s sister, Leslie, passed away in 2012 from an apparent overdose at the age of 25.

Carter worked as a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist for Aaron’s tours in the early 2000s. She also appeared on the family’s reality series House of Carters, which aired in 2006. While she battled addiction and substance abuse, Carter mostly lived her life away from the spotlight. She leaves behind her daughter, Bella.

Carter’s mother, Jane Carter, expressed her shock and grief in a statement on Saturday: “I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean, and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time.”

The cause of Carter’s death has not been revealed by Jane, who requested privacy in this difficult time. She stated, “When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement, but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”

She continued in her statement, “[H]owever deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater. So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious 8-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.”

In the wake of this tragedy, Angel Carter, another sister, took to Instagram to pay tribute to Carter. She highlighted we must “cultivate a society where seeking mental health support is met with understanding and encouragement.”

Angel reminisced about the close bond she shared with her older sister and emphasized the unfairness of the challenges Carter faced throughout her life. She concluded, “I love you BJ, you’re free now.”

The news of Carter’s death has caused an outpouring of condolences and support from fans, a testament to the impact the Carters’ lives have had on others.

Aaron’s death has led to an extensive investigation and lawsuits against doctors and pharmacies.
