Over the previous week, Zack Snyder has been releasing a handful of promos for his cut of Justice League that focus on each of the main characters in the film. As of Monday, four character teasers have been released for the movie. The first promo that was released focused on Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck), followed by Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill), Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller). Character teasers for Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) are likely going to be released soon.

The teaser for Batman opens with Bruce standing on the roof of a tank. Several characters are soon heard offscreen either talking to him or about him. Victor states that he heard about him and did not think that he was real. Alfred (Jeremy Irons) explains that his guilt has become his reason while Diana claims that hate is useless. Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds) vows to come for his great prize, while Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) says to the villain that if he wants the Batman, he has something that can help him. Finally, the Joker’s (Jared Leto) laugh is heard as Alfred points out to Bruce that he has fulfilled his promise. The first teaser ends with Clark pulling Bruce onto the ledge of a cooling tower. Bruce states that he has spent too much time trying to divide the team and now knows that he needs to bring them together.

The second promo focuses on Superman and opens with Clark walking through an unidentified alien ship, which showcases several costumes of the Justice League’s members. Several voices are heard talking about his death such as Bruce and Martha Kent (Diane Lane), while others are encouraging him to move forward, particularly his adoptive father Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and biological father Jor-El (Russell Crowe). Jonathan tells him to fly as it is his time, while Jor-El states that he will accomplish wonders. The trailer ends with Clark walking out in his new black Superman suit, stating that they wanted him back for a reason and he needs to find out why.

The character promos for Arthur and Barry are perhaps not as significant, but still showcase some major moments for their characters. Arthur is seen taking his mother Atlanna’s (Nicole Kidman) trident at the urging of Princess Mera (Amber Heard) and his teacher Vulko (Willem Dafoe), while Barry is seen meeting his love interest Iris West (Kiersey Clemons) for the first time after saving her from an oncoming car.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on the HBO Max streaming service where fans can finally decide if it is the better version than the theatrical release that was directed by Joss Whedon.
