In a new interview, a high-ranking Ukrainian general who also heads the country’s Intelligence force seemed confident that victory for his country would be coming by the summer. He said the country would face a “turning point” by the end of August, and Ukrainian victory would also mean the ousting of Russian President Vladimir Putin in a coup that he claimed is already underway.

Major General Kyrolo Budanov shared this and plenty more explosive claims in his Sky News interview. He also attacked Russia’s strength by saying, “We have been fighting Russia for eight years and we can say that the highly publicized Russian power is a myth,” and referred to the country as just “a horde of people with weapons.”

General Budanov then made the bombshell reveal that an alleged coup in Russia “has already been launched and they are moving into that way.” At this point, he claimed intervention in Putin’s leadership is inevitable and it would be “impossible to stop it.”

He also spoke about the rumors of Putin’s health that have been spreading during the War. He said that Putin is in “very bad psychological condition and physical condition and he is very sick,” and also added to rumors that the Russian President is suffering from cancer. When asked whether he was just attempting to spread false information to weaken Putin, General Budanov responded, “It’s my job, it’s my work, if not me who will know this?”

Putin recently met with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and once again particular aspects of his body language were called out as potential signs of his worsening health. He was gripping the right arm of his chair for support, slouching slightly and tapping his foot, while some also said his face appeared bloated, which has been happening more frequently in recent appearances.
