Scarlett Johansson Praises ‘Good Guy’ Ex-Husband Ryan Reynolds

Scarlett Johansson spoke about her ex-husband, Ryan Reynolds, who she was married to for two years, for the first time in years.

The actress opened up about her past relationship on an episode of Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop Podcast. “You’ve been married two times?” asked Paltrow.

“Three times,” responded Johansson.

“Oh, that’s right, I forgot that you were married to Ryan Reynolds,” Paltrow replied.

The 38-year-old actress started to open up about how the relationship came to be back in 2008. “We weren’t married very long, but when I first met you, or Iron Man or whatever.”

Paltrow said, “We love a good Ryan Reynolds in our house,” Johansson laughed and responded, “He’s a good guy.”

The couple tied the knot back in September 2008, then split two years later in December 2010. After the divorce, Reynolds married Blake Lively and recently welcomed their fourth child.

On the other hand, Johansson married Romain Dauriac in 2014 and split in 2017. They share one child, an 8-year-old daughter named Rose. In 2020 she remarried Colin Jost, and they welcomed their son back in 2021.
