Britney Spears’ Ex Jason Alexander Arrested After Crashing Her Wedding

Britney Spears had her dream wedding to Sam Asghari yesterday at their home in Los Angeles, but it was momentarily derailed Thursday afternoon when her ex, Jason Alexander, showed up at the house before being arrested and charged with trespassing.

Luckily, Alexander was apprehended before he could approach Spears or Asghari, but a live video allegedly recorded by Alexander shows him wandering around the property while calling the ceremony a “bullsh–– wedding,” and repeatedly asking where Britney was.

At the start of the video, Alexander converses with a security person who seemed to recognize him and is heard saying “I’ve been coming for three weeks up here.” Alexander is allowed to pass and continued toward the property. Another guard approached from a golf cart and asked Alexander to leave, to which he said “I’m good” and asked, “Where’s Britney at?”

The guard told Alexander he was calling 911, but Alexander continued to advance to the property eventually making it to the yard. He was seen entering her residence and searching several rooms, and a security guard with a visible handgun asks him to leave.

After the live feed was cut off briefly, it resumed as Alexander continued roaming around the property and introduced himself to workers. He told one man he shook hands with, “I’m here to crash the wedding, brother.” Alexander seemed to eventually be detained by security after wandering around Spears’ wedding tent.

It was certainly concerning that Alexander was able to literally walk into Spears’ house without major interference from security, but it’s possible that they didn’t know how dangerous he might have been at that moment.

Police say that Alexander was charged with misdemeanor trespassing, misdemeanor vandalism, and two counts of misdemeanor battery in relation to the physical struggle he got in with security guards. After his arrest, police also realized he is wanted for a felony theft warrant in Napa County, California.

Spears’ attorney, Matthew Rosengart, confirmed that she is safe, and added “I’m livid by this security breach and am working closely with law enforcement to ensure he is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extend of the law.”

Alexander and Spears were childhood friends and got married in a shotgun wedding ceremony in 2004 that was annulled after only 55 hours. Alexander has had a spate of legal issues since last year, even bleeding into early 2022 when he pled guilty to stalking an unnamed woman.
