The 75th British Academy of Film Awards took place Sunday for its first in-person event after going virtual in 2021. The Power of the Dog won both the Best Film and Best Director awards, while the sci-fi epic Dune swept the technical awards taking home a total of five.

Will Smith won again for King Richard, as well as Ariana Debose and Troy Kotsur who won Best Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor respectively. The Best Actress winner was Joanna Scanlan, who starred in the acclaimed indie film After Love that gained a ton of support in the U.K. with nominations for several British awards.
