Millie Bobby Brown, 19, Celebrates Her Engagement To Jake Bongiovi, 21, With A Party

Millie Bobby Brown, 19, had her engagement celebration at a private family event on Thursday with her fiancé Jake Bongiovi, 21.

A series of Instagram photos shared by hairstylist Pete Burkill show the young couple striking poses together in front of a white balloon arch and a neon sign, which spelled out the words “Mr. and Mrs. Bongiovi.”

In the pictures, Brown is dressed in a graceful white lace bralette with a matching skirt, while Jake is in a stylish green suit to commemorate their engagement. Burkill captioned in the post, “’Congrats to this beautiful couple!”

Brown gained her recognition for performing Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things, for which she was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards. She described how she connected to Bongiovi, son of rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, through Instagram and they became friends until romantic feelings emerged.

The young talent posted a photo in April of herself and Bongiovi, with a prominent diamond ring on her finger, announcing their engagement after two years of dating to her 63 million followers. She wrote in her post, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all,” which is a lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Lover.”
