Former Project Runway star Michael Costello has called out Chrissy Teigen and John Legend for accusing him of faking private messages between himself and Teigen. The designer posted a statement on Instagram and claimed it would be the last time he addressed the situation.

In his response Costello said, “The fact that Chrissy Teigen and her crisis team are working so hard, so strategically to come out against the DMs she sent me, and to downplay the comments she publicly posted on my Instagram, only proves that she is the same bully she has always been.”

He captioned the post, “God bless.” He added, “Also i wish John & Chrissy nothing but peace and happiness after all this.”

Costello claims that Teigen bullied him after an alleged fake racist tweet by the  designer came out. Costello said that the whole experience, of Teigen refusing to work with him and affecting the trajectory of his career, gave him suicidal ideas.

Teigen posted a response to Costello’s Instagram statement.

It read:

“Chrissy Teigen very clearly and contritely apologized for insensitive public tweets she made around a decade ago. She did not acknowledge nor apologize for sending private messages directing or encouraging self-harm.

Chrissy is completely surprised and disappointed by Michael Costello’s recent attack, which includes fictional ‘screenshots’ from 2014 of supposed private messages that Chrissy did not send. In October 2014, she did post a comment on Mr. Costello’s Instagram when he was publicly accused of making a racist remark. After he denied the accusation and claimed it was based on a photoshopped comment, Chrissy deleted the comment, as was reported at the time. Chrissy has never conspired with anyone to harm his career. The stylist he also attacked in his recent comments was not a part of Chrissy’s team until 2016 and did nothing to harm Mr. Costello.”
