The Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile suffers from Marfan Syndrome, an extremely rare fibrostic connective tissue disorder, and has been hospitalized multiple times, causing the band to take a break from touring.
Many Of Mice & Men (affectionately known as OMM) fans have taken to social media to tell Carlile to get better and to hurry back to the band. The singer took time to write a sobering message to his fans on Twitter, explaining that he will never get better. Read the entire chain below.
Carlile required a heart surgery last year and revealed that he was clinically dead for three hours on the table. Fewer than 200,000 cases of Marfan syndrome are diagnosed each year.
