Melania Trump Responds To Mika Brzezinski: ‘You Don’t Know Me’

First Lady Melania Trump responded to comments from MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski, saying the Morning Joe co-host “don’t know her.”

The First Lady issued a statement on Friday, hours after the MSNBC interview with Brezezinski was released online.

“I’m just telling you, Melania’s got the worst job in the country and I don’t think she wants do it a lot longer. I think she will do it for as long as she has to for her son, and that’s it,” Brzezinski said in the interview.

“I know Melania. I haven’t talked to her in months, but if my gut is right, I don’t think she’s going to put up with it much longer,” Brzezinski continued. “I know nothing. That’s just my instinct and I go with my gut and my gut’s always right.”

The First Lady criticized the co-host, claiming Brezezinski was using her to “further their own agenda.”

“It is sad when people try to further their own agenda by commenting on me and my family, especially when they don’t know me,” she said in a statement.

President Donald Trump on Saturday continued to go after Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough, tweeting that the two aren’t “bad people” but are dominated by “NBC bosses.”

The tweet furthered for a third day Trump’s attack on the MSNBC hosts, after he sparked controversy on Thursday after claiming Brzezinski had been “bleeding badly” from a “face-lift.”
