The early morning of May 10 marks the last time First Lady Melania Trump was seen publicly, where she accompanied her husband to Andrews Air Force Base to welcome home three American hostages held in North Korea. Now, she will be skipping President Donald Trump‘s visit to Camp David, the presidential country retreat for over 50 years, in Maryland this weekend. Melania has been officially unseen for 22 days.

On May 14, Melania underwent surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for an “embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition,” according to her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham. Apparently, there were no complications yet the first lady remained in the hospital for nearly a week following the operation.

On Friday, Grisham said the first lady “is fine, she’s doing great.”
