Melania Trump Has Quiet 53rd Birthday Party Amid Husband’s Mounting Legal Woes

Melania Trump celebrated her 53^rd birthday on Wednesday, which was an understated affair at Mar-a-Lago alongside her family.

The small celebration may have been inevitable for the former first lady as husband Donald Trump’s legal challenges grow by the day.

The celebration comes amid the former president’s legal battle with news columnist E. Jean Carroll, who is suing Trump for defamation and sexual assault. After a judge recently denied Trump’s request to delay the trial, Carroll’s lawsuit officially made its way to a court in New York City on Tuesday, when testimony began. Trump has denied allegations against him, saying that he knew “nothing about her” and that he thinks Carroll is “mentally sick.”

The judge in the case warned the former president’s lawyer’s against further “inappropriate” social media posts.

Earlier in the month, Trump was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly falsifying business records.

Despite the ongoing legal battles, the former president joined Melania’s birthday celebrations at Mar-a-Lago.

Former Trump White House aide Kellyanne Conway said that Melania “is the only person that Donald Trump fears.”
