First Lady Melania Trump has a photo rights agreement with Getty Images, which has proven to be quite lucrative. She made between $100,000 and $1 million in royalties through the deal last year, according to her husband’s most recent financial disclosure form.
Plenty of news outlets have subscriptions to Getty that allow for the downloading and use of photos in articles, but there are certain photos that require extra payment. Usually that price is listed, but in the case of the First Lady’s photos, it’s a little different.

The set of images consists of 187 photos taken by photographer Regine Mahaux between 2010 and 2016. According to an NBC News report, outlets that have published the photos include Yahoo News, NBC News, Marie Claire, the Daily Mail and the Houston Chronicle.
