Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a secret trip to Stanford University on last week to discuss plans for their new charitable foundation, Sussex Royal.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with professors, academics and even the university’s president Marc Tessier-Lavigne.

“As part of their ongoing work to develop and build their new charitable organization, they had a brainstorming session and meetings with academics and professors,” the source told Hello!.

Last week the couple attended a private JPMorgan event in Miami Beach. Prince Harry was a speaker. He spoke about his mental health struggles and the loss of his mother Princess Diana who died in 1997 in a car crash in Paris after a chase with the paparazzi. He also said that he stood by his decision to step back from royal duties because he needs to protect his family.

Markle and the Prince will spend their time in Vancouver, Canada and London.
