Mary Jane Thomas, Wife Of Hank Williams Jr., Died From Plastic Surgery Procedure At 58
Mary Jane Thomas, the wife of Hank Williams Jr., passed away in March at the age of 58 in Florida after she traveled to the state for an elective plastic surgery procedure. Authorities have finally determined the cause of death.
Mary Jane Thomas Cause Of Death
Thomas was receiving liposuction and was having her breast implants removed. She reportedly sustained a collapsed lung during the procedure at Bafitis Plastic Surgery in Jupiter, Florida.
It was not detected during the surgery, and she collapsed at her Florida resort the next day on March 22, being pronounced dead after she was rushed to the emergency room of Jupiter Medical Center.
Williams has been reflective online about the “38 wonderful years” they had together as husband and wife before her tragic accidental death.
Mary Jane Thomas was born in Tennessee in 1964 and worked as a model before meeting Williams at one of his concerts in Washington. Williams also mentioned online that he and Mary loved traveling and hunting together, “but our favorite was hunting right here in Tennessee!”
