Machine Gun Kelly Unveils New Blackout Tattoo

Singer Machine Gun Kelly has made headlines with his latest addition to his tattoo collection. On Tuesday, Kelly, 33, took to Instagram to reveal an extensive black tattoo that now covers a significant portion of his arms and chest and effectively obscures most of his previous ink.

This latest artwork features a cross silhouette across his torso, while his arms showcase a plethora of intricate designs and leave only faint remnants of his previous tattoos visible – the majority of his arms and upper chest are completely black.

Since its appearance, the post has received nearly 250,000 views and stands as the sole picture on Kelly’s Instagram feed. Notably, Kelly’s stomach still bears his previous red tattoo, “locals only” and another one of a man holding a sign that says, “I want change.”

R O X X, the tattoo artist responsible for Kelly’s latest ink, also shared a picture of the musician’s tattoo design on their own Instagram account. The photo shows Kelly glancing over his shoulder at his arm, now almost entirely black. The artist captioned the image with praise for Kelly’s resilience, and stated, “Never met a tougher one.”

In addition to his latest tattoo, Kelly previously debuted a matching tattoo with musician Travis Barker, with whom he collaborated on his sixth album, Born with Horns. When the album was unveiled it was accompanied by an Instagram post in which both artists displayed fresh ink on their left forearms, the words “born with horns.”

Barker, executive producer of the album, had previously worked with Kelly on his pop-punk release, Tickets to My Downfall.

While on a European vacation with his daughter in June, Kelly added another design to his heavily tattooed arm. The artist’s (recently deleted) social media posts showed a moment where his 14-year-old daughter Casie held a tattoo gun in playful consideration of what she could add to her father’s arm. Kelly’s Instagram caption alluded to their experiences, particularly a French music festival called Hellfest: “She said summer vacation, we ended up at Hellfest.”

Kelly was in the news this summer after he stormed off an interview with Brazilian TV.

His tumultuous relationship with girlfriend Megan Fox has been the focus of tabloid headlines for the last year.
