Machine Gun Kelly has received significant criticism online following an odd interview with Sky Sports’ Formula 1 commentator Martin Brundle.

During the Brazilian Grand Prix, Brundle reached the artist for a grid walk interview during a segment where he talks to celebrities for a quick chat.

When Brundle encountered the musician, the conversation took a bizarre turn.

MKG, whose real name is Colson Baker, wasn’t taking any attempts to engage in questions about his career.

MKG then asked Brundle about his air piano skills. He then later left the interview and gave a thumbs down.

Many Formula 1 fans saw this interview as disrespectful toward Brundle, who was a former driver for the sport.

In response to the interview, Kelly took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to explain his side of the story. “My anxiety has won. I hate being in public,” he tweeted.

Kelly also claimed that the noise of Formula 1 engines was making it difficult for him to hear.

This isn’t the first time Brundle was the victim of a celebrity snub. In July, Cara Delevingne seemingly refused an interview at a Grand Prix race.
