Macaulay Culkin posed for a picture while wearing a graphic t-shirt featuring Ryan Gosling wearing a picture of him during his Home Alone days that ended up going viral on Twitter.

Macaulay Culkin Dons Meta T-Shirt

The picture of Culkin, holding a Pizza Underground mug, was posted on his band’s Twitter account on Sunday with the caption, “Let's get meta #ryangosling #macaulayculkin #shirt #pizzaunderground #mug.” It has since been retweeted nearly 2,000 times.

Gosling originally wore the t-shirt featuring Culkin’s Life magazine cover picture back in March 2013. Since Culkin’s meta photo went viral, many on the Internet have made edits to show Gosling wearing a shirt of Culkin, wearing a t-shirt featuring Gosling wearing a t-shirt featuring the young Culkin. There’s also a photoshopped image taking it a step further.

The Pizza Underground, which formed in 2012, is a Velvet Underground cover band that changes up the rock band’s songs to be all about pizza. Among their tracks are “I’m Waiting for Delivery Man” and “Papa John Says.” Culkin plays percussion and kazoo for the band and helps out with the vocals.
