Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo Helps ‘The Talk’ Host Amanda Kloots Connect With Late Husband Nick Cordero

Amanda Kloots, the co-host of The Talk on CBS, said she felt “less alone” after self-professed psychic medium Theresa Caputo claimed to have a conversation with Kloots’ late husband, Nick Cordero, during a recent taping of Caputo’s reality show.

Kloots, 42, was a guest on Monday’s episode of Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits: Spirit to the Stars, which featured Caputo, 57, known as the Long Island Medium, channeling late family members of celebrities.

Caputo told Kloots that Cordero’s spirit woke her at 2 a.m. to prepare for their “reading” together. Cordero was an actor who worked on Broadway, TV and film before dying at age 41 in July 2020 from Covid-19 complications after a 95-day hospitalization.

“He said, ‘She’s my life, she’s my world, she’s my everything, and I need her to know that I’m ok,'” Caputo relayed to the tearful Kloots.

Kloots said she and Cordero, who share 5-year-old son, Elvis, had gone through previous breakups when they met doing a Broadway musical. They quickly became friends and eventually married on Sept. 3, 2017.

“Nick is easy to brag about,” Kloots said. “He was so loving and caring; he was a man of his word. He was a wonderful and best husband.”

Caputo said Cordero wanted Kloots to know the number three was significant for them. Kloots said it referred to their Sept. 3 wedding date, three years of marriage and three years together before his death. Caputo said Cordero called Kloots “the strongest woman that I ever met.”

Caputo also claimed Cordero’s spirit showed her visions of his final days, saying he was immobile but could hear Kloots’ voice. Kloots tearfully recounted being allowed to lie next to Cordero in his hospital bed on July 4, 2020.

“I just weaseled my way as much as I could ’cause there was no room in this tiny hospital bed, and Nick was six-five,” she said. “I bawled that day ’cause it was a very beautiful moment. I felt us connect again.”

Caputo said Cordero waited for Kloots before leaving his body early July 5.

“I stayed overnight that night, and I woke up at two o’clock in the morning and it was this gorgeous glow in the room,” Kloots said. “That’s when I feel like Nick’s soul left his body.”

After the reading, Kloots said in a confessional, “I felt less alone after talking with Theresa.” She has worked to honor Cordero’s memory while raising their son as a single mother.

Caputo’s hair was a major topic on social media after her recent appearance on The View.
