A teenage employee of Lollapalooza may have tried a very morbid strategy to get out of work.
The employee, who is 18, told her boss that her sister warned of a potential mass shooting in the area on Facebook, and also sent him an anonymous text making a similar threat.
According to Block Club Chicago, she admitted to making the threats up after she was detained for questioning. She is now facing charges of making a false terrorism threat and still being held in jail on a bail of $50,000.
This goes to show you that when you’re making up stories to ditch work, maybe don’t threaten your boss with harm to do so.
