Listen To George Michael’s New Single ‘This Is How (We Want You to Get High)’

The iconic George Michael’s posthumous single has officially been released today, after three years later the singer’s death.

“This Is How (We Want You to Get High)” was written back in 2012 and later recorded at London’s Air Studios, with finishing touches made in 2015 throughout Michael’s final recording sessions. The song is his first original material to be shared for seven years. The track has an upbeat vibe and socially-conscious message.

“The previously unreleased track, which was recorded during George’s final studio sessions, is his first original material to be shared for seven years,” a press release said.

“The lyrics, written exclusively by George, see the star addressing society’s ills with his trademark blend of self-deprecation and wry humor.”

This new track we proudly send as his gift to you this season to bring you all love and festive joy, Whoever you worship..Whoever you love…” said Michael’s family in the press release.

It should also be noted, that this song will feature on the soundtrack of Last Christmas – the upcoming movie, which is inspired by the greatest Christmas hit by Wham!
