Lindsay Lohan Welcomes Son Luai With Husband Bader Shammas, ‘Freaky Friday’ Mom Jamie Lee Curtis Congratulates Her

Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas have welcomed a new addition to their family. They shared that their son’s name is Luai, which means protector or shield in Arabic. 

Luai was born in the last few days – the family has not shared his exact date of birth – in Dubai. 

Lohan first announced her pregnancy in March on social media. She posted a photo of a baby onesie that reads “coming soon” and captioned the post, “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼.” 

Lohan’s Freaky Friday costar Jamie Lee Curtis congratulated Lohan on Instagram writing, “MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother. Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan.” Lohan also shared that Curtis had offered her some parenting tips before his birth.

Logan went on Instagram on Friday to share their son’s new beach-themed nursery, which she designed in collaboration with Nestig Baby. Paris Hilton, who recently had a baby boy, commented on the post, “Congratulations Lindsay!☺️So happy for you🥰 Welcome to the club! 💙 #BoyMom.” 

She was very excited to be a new mom. “I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom,” she recently told Allure.

Lohan first announced the engagement in November 2021 in a series of photos they took together with Lohan wearing her engagement ring. The post was captioned, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍 11.11.21.” 

Lohan and Shammas only announced their marriage on April 3, 2023, a year after their wedding. In an Instagram post Lohan wrote, “April 3, 2023 ❤️ 1 year today ❤️ Happy Anniversary ☺️,” and included a picture of the two of them hugging.

The couple currently live in Dubai together, where Lohan has been living for the past seven years.
