Mean Girls star Lindsey Lohan, 36, has posted on Instagram for the first time since having her first child in July, subtly referencing the beloved teen flick.

“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery,” Lohan wrote. “Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom,” the actress wrote, highlighting her partnership with a post-partum underwear brand.

Last month, Lohan and her financier husband Bader Shammas welcomed their son Luai in Dubai.

Back in March, Lohan revealed her pregnancy on social media, expressing her feelings of being “blessed and excited” about the upcoming journey into motherhood.

She first announced her pregnancy on Instagram in March by posting a photo of a baby onesie that revealed  “coming soon” with the caption “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼.”

Among the well-wishers, Jamie Lee Curtis, one of the actresses who portrayed Lohan’s movie mother in Freaky Friday, extended her congratulations to the new parents. She took to Instagram to share her joy, writing, “My movie daughter has now made me a movie grandmother. Sending blessings to Lindsay and Bader on the birth of their son, Luai!”
