Lil Wayne‘s upcoming memoir – Gone ‘Til November – will include a passage about how his girlfriend cheated on him with Drake while he was imprisoned.
Gone ‘Til November charts Wayne’s eight-month prison sentence in 2010 for charges stemming from weapons possession. One of the troubling events that occurred on the outside while Wayne was locked up at New York City’s Rikers Island, was his then-girlfriend Tammy Torres allegedly cheating on him.
“Finding out that she f–ked Drake was the absolute worst thing I could have found out,” Wayne writes in his memoir, according to People magazine, which published excerpts from the book.
Wayne had heard about the rumors, but they were only confirmed when his Young Money labelmate Drake came to visit him at Rikers.
“Drizzy came to see me, he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s true’. Damn! This is the type of s–t a man never wants to find out while he is locked up,” Wayne writes.
Following Drake’s betrayal, Lil Wayne managed to forgive him. By 2014, the two rappers were out on tour together.
Drake, who is currently in a relationship with Rihanna, has yet to comment on Wayne’s account of events in Gone ‘Til November.
Gone ‘Til November hits shelves on Oct. 11.
