LeBron James Gives Update On Son Bronny’s Health Following July Cardiac Arrest Incident
LeBron James says his son, Bronny James, could return to the basketball court this season if he passes his medical benchmarks.
Bronny has been out of action ever since he suffered a cardiac arrest on July 24 during a team workout. The incident required him to have surgery.
LeBron spoke about his son’s health after the Lakers game against the Miami Heat.
The hoops superstar said that if Bronny is allowed by his doctors, he will start practicing with the team and play in games.
“Things are going in the right direction with Bronny’s progress,” LeBron said. “He’s doing rehab. Every week he gets to do more and more and more. We have a big moment at the end of this month to see if we can continue to go forward. If he’s cleared, we’ll be not too long away from him being back on the floor and back with his teammates and practicing, with the notion of being back on the floor and playing in game situations.”
Bronny, who is a part of the USC Trojans Basketball team, watched his team play against Kansas State to an 82-69 victory on Monday. USC is currently the No. 21 ranked team in the country.
