Lamar Odom remains hospitalized in Las Vegas in a medically induced coma, while the owner of the brothel at which he was found responsive is getting into a media war with the Kardashian family.

Lamar Odom Update

Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof has been front and center during the media storm that ensued after Odom was rushed to the hospital following a suspected drug overdose. He’s been taking interviews with various outlets, offering details about the former NBA player’s stay. Hof has talked about everything from the substance that came out of Odom’s nose when he was turned over and his mental state, to the amount of cash he spent on women and what he was drinking and eating during his time at the Love Ranch.

During an interview on Saturday, the day after Odom was hospitalized, Hof went on Nancy Grace‘s show, where he revealed that the Kardashian family’s publicist had called him to ask him not to do any media.

“Speaking of the Kardashians, I got a call from their publicist today saying, ‘Are you going to do any media?’ and I said yes I’m going to go on the Nancy Grace show,” Hof told Grace. “And she said ‘Please don’t do that, we’d rather have Khloe say what needs to be said.’ I told her to go to hell.”

Unable to reach Hof directly through their publicist, the Kardashian family, no doubt led by Odom’s estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, released a statement.

“We reached out to Dennis,” the statement to Us Weekly read. “Politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloe’s) privacy during this difficult time, and refrain from talking to the press. This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad.”

Hof, unmoved by the Kardashians’ appeal, continued on his media tour Thursday. While speaking with CBS News, when asked about their statement, he replied, “I know what happened. I’m the one protecting my business and telling the truth about it.”

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, two of the brothel employees found Odom unconscious in his VIP suite. He was rushed to a nearby hospital before being transported to a Las Vegas hospital to receive further treatment. It is believed that Odom had taken a toxic mix of herbal sexual stimulants, cocaine and alcohol. He is currently fighting for his life, as reports claim that a number of his major organs are failing and that he has suffered brain damage.
