Lady Gaga Wins Supporting Role in a Series for ‘American Horror Story’ At Golden Globes 2016
Lady Gaga won her first Golden Globe for her onscreen turn in the fifth installment of America Horror Story: Hotel. Gaga played The Countess in the series. Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, invited her back for the sixth season of Horror Story.
“I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley film Moonstruck right now, this is one of the greatest moments of my life,” she said onstage, thanking Murphy and the cast. “You’re my family forever. … Because of you, I was able to shine, I guess. So thank you for sharing your talent with me. I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer, but music worked out first.”
Gaga went on, “The things I put my body through and my mind through when I’m working, it makes me like a child, I can’t even do things on my own. You allow that and you take care of me and you help me to explore my creativity in ways i never thought I could.”
