Lady Gaga Tweets New Song Lyrics

Little monsters rejoice: Lady Gaga released lyrics to her upcoming single "Born This Way" via Twitter on Thursday night.

The pop diva teased her fans with a tweet asking her fans, "#thankgod4gaga is trending!? More like #thankgod4monsters! Maybe I should leak the lyrics to Born This Way today, whatdya say #leakitgaga?" before adding, "Are you ready for the full lyrics?! Can we trend #bornthiswaylyrics!? It has been in my heart for over a year. I'm so excited to share it."

She finally used the TwitLonger website to present her full lyrics, tweeting, "It's #1 worldwide! That was fast! You're so radical! Here you Monsters, this one's for you." and then, "BORN THIS WAY WRITTEN BY: LADY GAGA PRODUCED BY: LADY GAGA, FERNANDO GARIBAY, DJ WHITE SHADOW MIXED AND …"

The chorus of the song, about empowerment and self-acceptance, is, "I'm beautiful in my way / 'Cause God makes no mistakes / I'm on the right track baby / I was born this way. Don't hide yourself in regret / Just love yourself and you're set / I'm on the right track baby / I was born this way."

Gaga has announced (also via Twitter) that she will release the single on February 13. Her much anticipated third album, also titled Born This Way, will be released May 23. —ISHITA SINGH
