‘Krampus,’ The New Christmas-Themed Horror Movie, Is Coming To Town; New Trailer Teases Frights
The trailer for Krampus, a new Christmas-themed horror movie, promises a terrifying trip to the theaters this holiday season.
‘KRAMPUS’ TRAILER RELEASED
The Krampus trailer shows a seemingly normal family lacking in Christmas spirit. As their petty remarks and sarcasm increase, a terrible storm begins to form outside their house, and before they know it they are being hunted by Santa’s evil Christmas companion, Krampus.
Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic creature from Alpine folklore who punishes naughty children during the Christmas season. Believe it or not, he and Saint Nicholas have been working together all along, with Krampus doing all the dirty work, and Santa reaping the benefits of his more amiable role as present-giver.
The trailer features an impaled gingerbread man, a creepy jack-in-the-box and monstrous, blood-thirsty toys.
Krampus stars actors Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner and Allison Tolman, and is directed by Michael Dougherty.
Krampus hits theaters on Dec. 4.
