Kourtney Kardashian Shuts Down Online Critics Of Her Post-Pregnancy Body

Kourtney Kardashian has stood up to online hate regarding her appearance and refused to let body shamers dictate her self-worth.

On April 18, Kim Kardashian shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Kardashian on her 45th birthday. The photo showed the sisters, clad in elegant black swimsuits, posed on the beach alongside their sister Khloe Kardashian.

However, a now-deleted comment on the post attempted to mock Kardashian. “Now you know [Kourtney’s] not going to like this photo… lol it’s her bday Kim.” Kourtney swiftly responded to the critic and firmly asserted that the image captured a cherished moment with her family.

She wrote, “I absolutely LOVE this photo! It is me and my sisters having the best time on a trip with our kids… And the memories last forever! And I LOVE this body that gave me my three big babies and my little baby boy.”

Kardashian shares three children, Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with her ex-partner Scott Disick. In addition, she and her husband, Travis Barker, welcomed their first child, Rocky, in November.

In response to Kim’s post, many fans rallied to Kardashian’s defense and praised her for rejecting the criticism.

This isn’t the first time the founder of Poosh has confronted body shamers head-on. In 2021, she clapped back at a comment that suggested she was pregnant and shared a series of photos of herself in which she stunned in a black bralette and a red skirt. Kourtney vehemently rejected the body-shaming and asserted, “I’m a woman with a BODY.”

Kardashian also faced similar criticism in May 2020 when she addressed pregnancy rumors that arose after she posted bikini photos. She responded to a critic, “This is me when I have a few extra pounds on, and I actually love it. I have given birth three amazing times, and this is the shape of my body.”

Just two months before the birth of her fourth child, Kardashian revealed that she had been hospitalized and underwent urgent fetal surgery. In September, she took to Instagram to express her deep gratitude to her doctors and unwavering appreciation for her family’s support.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear,” she wrote. “I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”

“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing,” she concluded.
