Kim Kardashian Shares Video Of Kanye West Talking To Taylor Swift About ‘Famous,’ Swift Reacts

Kim Kardashian released a conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift that reveals that the rapper did speak to the pop singer about the infamous “Famous” track on his latest album.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift

Kardashian took to Snapchat Sunday night and posted a recorded conversation in which West discusses “Famous” and the lyric that refers to Swift with Swift. Kanye reads the “Famous” lyric to Swift, “To all my southside n—-s that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.”

Swift responds, “I mean go with whatever line you think is better. It’s obviously very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice.” Swift goes on to say, “The heads up is so nice. [inaudible] Even asking or seeing if I would be okay with it and I just really appreciate it. Like I would never expect you to like tell me about a line in one of your songs.”

Kardashian had directed her Twitter followers to Snapchat last night before dropping the evidence. In response, Swift posted a note to Instagram, condemning both Kardashian and West. “That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet,” Swift captioned the Instagram post.

Swift claims in the note that although the clips are authentic, she did not know about the “I made that b–ch famous line.” However, that might not be entirely true.

“Right after the song comes out I’m going to be on a Grammys red carpet and they’re going to ask me about it and I’ll be like, ‘He called me.’ It’s awesome that you’re so outspoken about this and be like, ‘Yeah, she does. It made her famous.‘ Its more provocative to say ‘might still have sex…,'” Swift said at one point in the conversation, according to E! News. “It’s doesn’t matter to me. There’s not like one [line] that hurts my feelings and one that doesn’t.”

When the “Famous” track was first released earlier this year, Swift released a statement, claiming that she was blindsided. “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account,” Swift’s rep told Entertainment Weekly at the time.“She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b—h famous.’”

Since then, West has maintained that he ran lyrics past the singer. And, Kardashian has grown increasingly vocal about her support for her husband, culminating in Sunday’s massive video release.
