After successfully pitching Alice Johnson‘s pardon to President Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian West revealed that she’s not ruling out a run for political office.

“Never say never,” Kardashian West told CNN. “I honestly saw that if I could use my platform just to do something for one person, that it opens the conversation for so much more and for other people to want to do the same thing.”

While the reality star doesn’t see herself in public service in the near future, Kardashian West said she loves when parties are able to cooperate for a common goal.

“If more people would just put their personal feelings aside and talk about really important issues that have to be discussed, then so much more can get done,” Kardashian West said. “No matter who you talk to, no matter what political party, people feel what’s right is right and that’s what I love about this, is that it can just be so bipartisan.”

On May 30, the TV personality met with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office to speak about prison reform, specifically Alice Johnson’s non-violent, first-time drug offense.

Kardashian West said she wants to continue her journey freeing incarcerated women in similar situations as Johnson for now.
