Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery Halloween Costime Pulled From Website
Costumeish.com is ahead of the curve this year in terms of costumes that offend people, as it clearly showed when it offered a “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Kit.”
COSTUME COMPANY PULLS KARDASHIAN ROBBERY COSTUME
A few weeks ago, Kim Kardashian was bound and gagged and robbed at gunpoint while in her Paris home. The costume, which has now been taken off the website, included a chic white robe, a long, dark wig, oversized sunglasses, and a huge, albeit fake, diamond ring. While the company didn’t use the reality star’s name, it was extremely clear what the costume was supposed to be.
Costumeish received a lot of backlash for the costume for being tasteless and offensive. The owner of Decades Costume James Hall said he himself believes the costume to be politically incorrect, but admits he is not above selling it to someone else.
“It depends on who your friends are,” Hall said. “You could have friends who appreciate it or look down on it.”
Costumeish has been around for more than 15 years and this is the first time they have had to pull a costume from their site.
