Kim Kardashian made her first television appearance since giving birth to baby North West on her mother Kris Jenner's new talk show, the Kris Jenner Show, last Friday.

Kim has been keeping a low profile since giving birth to her first child with Kanye West in June, but has slowly begun resuming her public life. A month after giving birth, Kim wrote on her blog about motherhood for the first time.

“These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I’m enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family. I’ve been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment,” Kim wrote on her blog in July.

And now, almost two months after the arrival of her baby girl, Kim has finally made her return to television with a pre-taped message to her mother for the Kris Jenner Show. Co-host Sean “Diddy” Combs was in on the surprise: he teased Kris and the audience that he brought a special clip to debut just for them. Kris was moved to tears when she heard her daughter’s well-wishes and congratulations.

Ever since the Kris Jenner Show premiered in July, Kris has not been shy about using her daughter’s highly publicized move into motherhood to benefit her show. In fact, she even teased fans when she walked out on her show cradling a baby in her arms on Monday, July 15. The baby, as it turned out, was not North. In fact, Kris reminded the fans that they will have to wait to catch a glimpse of the new baby until Kim sees fit.

“That would be kidnapping. I wouldn’t do it to Kim – just give her some time and peace and she’ll be out showing her off herself,” Kris told the audience.

Other members of the famed Kardashian clan have also appeared on the talk show. Khloé Kardashian even co-hosted an episode, joining her mom for a drinking game.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Sundays at 9 P.M. on E! and the Kris Jenner Show is currently being tested by Fox stations, with the hope of being picked up for a regular season in 2014.
