Khloe Kardashian threw some shade at Jamie Foxx for his jokes at her step-father Bruce Jenner‘s expense at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
In his opening monologue as the iHeartRadio host, Foxx said from the stage, “Bruce Jenner will be here doing some musical performances. He’s doing a his and her duet by himself.”
He added that he was just “busting your balls — while I still can.”
When asked about the tasteless quips, Kardashian called them a “low blow” – particularly because she’s familiar with the Django Unchained actor.
“I just think it’s a low blow. I think it’s very mean. I wish him all the best. It is what it is,” she told The Insider while attending a beauty event in Los Angeles Thursday.
“I know Jamie, so I think that’s also why that’s a really low blow,” she added. “But hey, guess that’s what he felt the need to do for a little press.”
It has been rumored for months that Jenner is undergoing a transition to become a woman, though the reality TV star and former Olympian has yet to comment on it. When asked about her stepfather’s alleged transition, Kim Kardashian suggested that it was only Jenner who should be opening up about the subject.
“Bruce should tell his story his way,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I think everyone goes through things in life, but I do think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.”
Jenner reportedly has plans to document his transition in his own reality show.
