Kerry Washington Celebrated Her Hasty Pudding Induction At Harvard

Kerry Washington was named Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals 2016 “Woman of the Year.”

On Thursday, Washington was presented with the traditional tiny gold plated cauldron and a certificate for her Hasty Pudding induction before the club members brought her on a procession through Harvard Square. While the Scandal star kept it classy in a gray blazer, the social club students were adorned in flamboyant ensembles for the celebration.

Washington documented her Hasty Pudding induction on Instagram. “My induction medal! It’s official. #KerryxHastyPudding ??: #CelesstialIsMore + #Starlight #kerry4opi,” the actress captioned her first snap of the day.

“First @Harvard party. Unforgettable day,” she captioned a close-up of her left hand. “These students are amazing #Kerry4OPI #NeverHaveTooManiFriends ?!?! Oh well! Today I’ve made a few more.”

She gave shoutouts to her makeup and hairstylists for the day – @takishahair and @jennamenard.

And Washington also gave style watchers the details on her Hasty Pudding induction ensemble: Self Portrait top, Sea skirt, Isabel Marant shoes and Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Of course, Washington was sure to post a picure with her Hasty Pudding “roastmasters.”
