Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Reunite After 3 Months Apart With Daughter Lola Consuelos

There’s nothing better than being with family for a Sunday dinner, an event that hasn’t regularly occurred in any household in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the recommendation against mass gatherings.

The Ripa-Consuelos household finally got their wish of being able to have dinner together after three months. “Sunday dinners with #daddy,” Kelly Ripa captioned on a family photo seated around the table. Husband Mark Consuelos is seen sitting next to his children – Micheal Consuelos, 23, Lola Consuelos, 19, Joaquin Consuelos, 17 and Ripa’s nephew Sergio-Giuseppe Ripa, 21.

Mark Consuelos has been in Vancouver, Canada filming the fifth season of Riverdale. Like most series, production on the hit TV series shut down in March due to the pandemic. In order to start the new season, the entire cast and crew had to remain in a bubble on set until filming was wrapped. Riverdale didn’t get to finish filming the last two episodes of season four and are planning on using those scripts involving the main character’s high school prom and graduation in the first two episodes before having a time jump on the show.

Ripa and Consuelos have been vocal about their separation on social media. In September, Consuelos gave an update posting an old photo of the couple cuddled together captioning, “1 month down…3 to go…missing my home team.”

Consuelos missed a lot while he was working. Ripa shared that Lola voted for the first time in the 2020 presidential election and shared a photo of them with the iconic “I Voted” stickers. He also missed spending National Sons Day with his boys.

The event that probably hurt the most for the couple was the actor having to miss being with his wife on the day she turned 50 in October. Consuelos posted a trio of photos dedicated to her, “I love you, sexy,” he wrote. Ripa responded in the comments, “Thank you, baby. Wish we were together.”

The family can now make up for lost time celebrating the holidays together.
