Kelly Ripa & Daughter Lola Consuelos Celebrate Socially Distanced Thanksgiving
Kelly Ripa shared how her family did Thanksgiving a little different this year.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced families across America to change their holiday plans, and that includes celebrity families too. The Live With Kelly and Ryan co-host shared a throwback Thursday picture on Instagram of her family last Thanksgiving and compared that with pictures from this year, showing how they are trying to stay safe.
The first picture in the slideshow is from last year’s celebration. Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos pose with their three kids: Lola, 19, Michael, 23, and Joaquin, 17. The next photos in the set show Ripa and the children video chatting with Consuelos, his parents and Ripa’s parents. Ripa joked about the grandparent’s FaceTime appearance in the comments, pointing out that her mother wore a mask for the call.
“#tbt thanksgiving is not like last year, but we’re still grateful that our parents are getting the hang of FaceTime. Sort of. 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃😂,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Ripa also posted #TBT Thanksgiving pictures to her Instagram Stories, showing off the large and glamorous celebrations of years past. One photo even featured Lola, Michael and Joaquin as little kids.

Consuelos and Ripa have been separated since September as Ripa has been staying in Manhattan with their children and Consuelos has been in Vancouver filming Riverdale.
Last week, Consuelos posted a fall back Friday picture posing with his wife with the caption “#fbf missing my date nights with sexy…” In the comments, Ripa responded “soon ish” with a heart emoji.
Ripa revealed that she is also missing her husband: “It’s just going to be a reunion, really, for us — the kids and me and Mark,” she told SheKnows. “And it really will be a celebration. We miss him terribly.”
