In the latest development of the split between actress Keke Palmer and her ex, Darius Jackson, Jackson has filed for a restraining order against Palmer.

This comes a month after Palmer filed her temporary restraining order and asked the court for sole custody of their child.

Jackson alleges that Palmer was physically abusive towards him, specifically under the influence of alcohol, accusing Palmer of hitting and choking him in those incidents.

Jackson has also asked the court for joint custody of their son and that Palmer pay for his lawyers.

Palmer filed for a temporary restraining order against Jackson on November 9. In the request, she said she feared for her and her son’s safety after Jackson had multiple instances of physical and emotional abuse.

“I am afraid for my safety and the safety of our child given Darius’ erratic, unpredictable and abusive behavior, including entering my house without my knowledge or permission and physically accosting me,” she said.

Palmer and Jackson started dating in 2021. According to both of their court filings, the relationship officially ended in 2023.
