Keira Knightley and her musician husband James Righton are expecting their first child together.

Knightley’s spokesperson confirmed her pregnancy on Friday after rumors started to spread that the actress and Righton were expecting.

It was first speculated that Knightley could be pregnant back in November. At the time, it was reported that she had been working with her stylist to come up with some designs that would help to mask her baby bump. “Keira and her stylist have been putting together looks that hide her growing bump,” an insider told Star Magazine.

Earlier this week, Knightley added fuel to the fire when she declined any and all alcoholic drinks at the Moet British Independent Film Awards with Righton at her side. She “steered clear from any champagne or alcohol” a source told the Daily Mail.

Knightley’s pregnancy news comes on the heels of some exciting career news for the star, as she’s been nominated for both a SAG and Golden Globe award for playing Joan Clarke in The Imitation Game. She has previously admitted that when she had children, she wouldn’t be putting her acting on hold.

“I don’t want to deny my femininity. But would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No,” Knightley told Vogue in 2013. “On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at.”

Knightley and Righton were married in May 2013 in the south of France.
