Kate Walsh Bares All For Shape Magazine

She may have her own Private Practice on ABC, but that's about all that Kate Walsh keeps private, apparently. The 44-year-old sexy redhead stripped down to shoot the cover of March's Shape magazine.

"Right now, I feel really healthy, confident, and sexy," she told the magazine about going nude. "I'm enjoying my 40s and wanted to share that. Is it a mid-life crisis?" she asked. "I do drive a Porsche, so maybe it is!"

But don't go waiting for Walsh to show some skin on just any magazine cover. "I really wanted to do a naked cover — especially with Shape because the magazine is about loving yourself inside and out," she said. And the inside part is just as important to Walsh, who quit smoking three years ago, cold turkey. "I'll admit it, I used to love smoking," she said. "But from a health perspective, it's a no-brainer."

The Shape issue featuring the leggy, sexy Walsh hits news stands on Monday. You can catch Private Practice Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
