Move over, Kate Middleton. There's a new bride-to-be in town.

British beauty Kate Moss, 37, will soon be preparing for her own wedding of the year on July 2, since her boyfriend of three years, Jamie Hince, 40, popped the question Tuesday night.

Hince, the guitarists for the hit band, The Kills, surprised Moss in bed when she was about to go to sleep, reports UK's The Sun. He flipped the lights on, got on one knee, and presented her with a vintage 1920s engagement ring. He even asked her parents for permission before he proposed.

"Kate is delighted," a source told the paper. "Jamie is the man for her – they are soul mates. She just wanted to make him work for her hand in marriage. He has been badgering her to get married, but she wanted to take her time."

The supermodel is not concealing her excitement, and even joked that she would be the most famous Kate to wed in 2011, instead of Prince William's fiancee, Middleton.

"They're going to have the mother of all weddings," the insider said. "It will be a huge party, one of the biggest she has ever thrown – and she's thrown a few."

The youngest bridesmaid will be Moss' eight-year-old daughter, Lila, whom Moss had with Britain's Dazed & Confused magazine co-founder, Jefferson Hack. —KIMBERLY STEELE
