Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, visited the Institute of Reproductive and Development Biology at Imperial College on Oct. 14 to hear about the work of Tommy’s, a national charity founded to reduce rates of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. In honor of Baby Loss Awareness Week in the U.K., Kate talked to parents who have been supported by the charity.

The Duchess looked sharp at the event, donning a royal blue belted dress, paired with gold hoops, black heels, and a blue patterned face mask. Later in the day, she added on a lab coat, as she toured the institute’s research facilities. Kate’s visit to the center reflects a longstanding interest the Duchess has had in parenthood and early childhood development.
