Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, visited the Institute of Reproductive and Development Biology at Imperial College on Oct. 14 to hear about the work of Tommy’s, a national charity founded to reduce rates of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. Later in the day, she added on a lab coat, as she toured the institute’s research facilities. Kate’s visit to the center reflects a longstanding interest the Duchess has had in parenthood and early childhood development.
