Kanye West To Pay Kim Kardashian $200,000 A Month In Child Support Under Divorce Settlement

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally reached a divorce agreement after Kardashian initially filed for divorce from the rapper nearly two years ago in February 2021. Kardashian was granted a request to be declared legally single in March, but she and West have been finalizing property split agreements and a child support plan.

West and Kardashian agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their children North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Kardashian will receive a monthly child support payment of $200,000 a month from West. Kardashian and West will split all medical, security and educational costs associated with their children, and both also declined to request spousal support payments.

Along with recent controversies due to antisemitic viewpoints West has expressed, he has also been behaving erratically online and elsewhere during these lengthy divorce proceedings. One of West’s rants about Kardashian letting their oldest daughter North use TikTok prompted Kardashian to respond by accusing West of “trying to control and manipulate our situation so publicly.”

She also mentioned that West allegedly was having trouble retaining divorce attorneys by writing “hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”

The real estate situation was likely the most time-consuming and complicated aspect of this divorce, as the pair owned 21 properties together by the time of their divorce. Kardashian reportedly has been awarded the home in Hidden Hills, California she has spent most of her time in, and also was granted homes in Malibu, the inland L.A. suburb of Riverside and Idaho.

West has maintained ownership of other California properties including different residences in Hidden Hills and Malibu, and a property in Thousand Oaks. He is also walking away with two ranches and a home in Wyoming, his childhood home in Chicago and a property in Belgium.

After the split, both Kardashian and West have had relationships. Kardashian dated Pete Davidson for around nine months, who was repeatedly harassed by West. West also had short-lived relationships with Julia Fox and later Chaney Jones.
