Kanye West Says He May Run For President In 2024 Instead Of This Year

Adding to confusion as to if Kanye West plans to run for president the rapper said in a since deleted tweet on Tuesday, “#2020VISION or maybe ‘24,” he added, “I guess all black people supposed to vote on Biden? “Y’all want me to run on nah???”

Attached to the post was a picture of an orange piece of paper that had the track list of his upcoming album written on it. West plans to release his new album on Friday and announced the news on Tuesday. He then posted again and said that he is going to release a movie in addition to the new album.

His last tweet states, “Says the future president.”

His comments come just one day after his since deleted Twitter rant where he claims his wife Kim Kardashian and mother-in-law Kris Jenner tried to “lock him up.” West even commented on Kardashian’s 2002 sex tape and 2007 Playboy profile, “I put my life on the line for my children that North’s mother would never sell her sex tape.” He added, “I put my like on my God that Norths mom would never photograph her doing playboy and that’s on God I’m at the ranch… come and get me.”

Over the weekend, West held his first campaign rally in South Carolina and was brought to tears after revealing that he and Kardashian had almost got an abortion when Kardashian was pregnant with their daughter North West. A source told People, Kim is shocked that Kanye spoke about North at the rally. She is furious that he shared something so private.”

Kardashian took to her Instagram story to make a statement regarding West’s recent actions. She said, “He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions.”

The question as to if West actually plans to run for president has remained unanswered. He had missed the deadline to appear on the ballot in several states, but managed to get on Oklahoma’s after paying a $33,000 fee. West needed 10,000 signatures by noon on Monday to qualify for South Carolina and took to Twitter to ask people to sign his petition. However, by 12:00 p.m. on Monday no one showed up to hand in West’s petition to the South Carolina Commission spokesman Cris Whitmire told Fox News.
