Justin Timberlake Apologizes To Wife Jessica Biel For ‘Strong Lapse’ In Judgement For Holding Hands With Alisha Wainwright
Justin Timberlake publicly apologized to his wife Jessica Biel on Wednesday for an incident last month in New Orleans involving him and another actress from his upcoming movie.
In an Instagram post, the 38-year-old Grammy winner issued an apology while addressing an incident from November where he was seen holding hands with Alisha Wainwright, who is set to star alongside Timberlake in Palmer.

“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” the singer wrote.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar,” Timberlake added. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. This is not the example I want to set for my son.”

Biel and Timberlake have been married since October 2012 and share a 4-year-old son, Silas.
“I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that,” the singer also wrote in the post.
On Nov. 23, The Sun first published photos and videos of Timberlake and Wainwright holding hands while sitting at a bar in New Orleans with a group of friends.
Palmer is directed by Fisher Stevens and centers on former high school football star Eddie Palmer (played by Timberlake) and his return to his hometown after a prison sentence. There is no release date yet for the film.
The last movie Timberlake appeared in was Woody Allen‘s 2017 film Wonder Wheel. The singer concluded the tour for his latest album, 2018’s Man of the Woods, in April.
