Styles hit the WWE ring on Monday Night Raw this week and called out Cena. Styles and his Club mates Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were determined to lay a beatdown on the wrestling veteran.
“I mean, come on, what’s more fun than beating up John Cena,” Styles said.
Styles’ plans got derailed when Cena got some help from a few of his friends, as Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady jumped in the ring to fight off The Club’s assault on Cena.
Styles decided to keep the rivalry going on Twitter, encouraging fans with a new hashtag.
“Today is a good day to #beatupjohncena,” Styles tweeted.
